Management deaf to Maintenance Instructor show-of-interest; Representation vote scheduled
Maintenance Instructors at United Airlines will vote in a representation election May 24–June 14. The work classification demonstrated well over the minimum required fifty percent show-of-interest, and easily could have qualified for automatic recognition by United Airlines management. Instead, the lawyer-lead airline is forcing a formal vote to stall representation and cost the union money.
